Nuanced aroma with a sweet and floral character, but ultimately overpowered by a cloying sweetness that fails to cut through the richness. The nose is shaped by by a peach and elderflower accord, but the peach is somewhat one-dimensional and the elderflower is overly prominent. The sensation is similarly affected, with a lack of brightness to symmetry the sweetness and a jarring body of gooseberry jelly that disrupts the harmony. Overall, a somewhat interesting but ultimately unbalanced and overly sweet wine.
