Lumos Temperance Hill Vineyard Aligoté 2021

This Aligoté from the esteemed Temperance Hill Vineyard presents a luminous straw hue, indicative of its vibrant character. The nose is a sophisticated interplay of white blossom, green apple, and a hint of flinty minerality, suggesting a wine of both precision and depth. On the palate, it offers a taut, linear structure with crisp acidity that underscores flavors of lemon zest and underripe peach, accompanied by a subtle saline edge. The finish is clean and persistent, marked by a whisper of almond skin. This wine exemplifies the varietal's potential when cultivated in Oregon's cool climate, offering a refreshing alternative to more opulent Chardonnays.
