Locations NZ is praised for its vibrant citrus and tropical fruit flavors, with notes of grapefruit, green apple, and herbaceous undertones. While many appreciate its refreshing and balanced profile, some find it lacks depth and complexity. The wine is often described as crisp and clean, making it a popular choice for warm weather and casual drinking.
Displaying a vibrant ruby hue, this New Zealand red blend captivates with its aromatic bouquet of ripe blackcurrant, crushed violets, and a whisper of eucalyptus. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious structure, where silky tannins and a lively acidity underscore flavors of dark plum, black cherry, and a hint of graphite. The mid-palate is expansive yet focused, leading to a finish that is both persistent and elegantly spiced with nuances of cedar and cocoa. This wine exemplifies the finesse and intensity characteristic of New Zealand's terroir, offering a compelling expression for the discerning palate.
