Dougas
Rich, garnet-hued wine with a light sweetness and a floral bouquet, featuring tones of cherries, berries, and strawberries, accompanied by a trace of dried herbs. The tannins are smooth, and the finish is medium, with a lingering quality.

Graceful blend of Mencía, Alicante Bouschet, Estaladina, and Souson, aged for 12 months in French oak, presents itself as a well-crafted, medium-bodied wine with a pleasing equilibrium of flavors. whereas it shows promise, its closed nature on the palate suggests that it requires some time to fully express its potential. As it ages, it develops a full bodied structure, accompanied by a range of aromas, including dried cranberries, violets, minerals, and well-integrated oak notes, balanced by juicy acids and soft tannins. A joyful and easy-drinking wine, it is a impressive selection for those aiming for a smooth, friendly option.

This Mencía-based blend receives consistent praise for balanced flavors of dark fruits, smooth tannins, and mineral undertones. Reviewers highlight cherry, berry, and plum notes with oak integration, though some suggest aging potential for fuller expression. While most appreciate its medium-bodied structure and elegant balance, a few note occasional muted fruit or closed palate characteristics that may require patience.
This La Vizcaína Las Gundiñas Lomas de Valtuille is a medium to full-bodied, structured red from the Spanish region of Bierzo. On the nose, it has an array of aromas including ripe black fruit, blackberry, flinty notes, and spicy hints of licorice and nutmeg. On the palate, it has a robust texture and intense flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, and balsamic with a long, mineral finish.
