2014

Aridjen

Solid entry point for those unfamiliar with the 2014 vintage, despite its notorious reputation. Crafted from pre-phyloxera roots, this wine exhibits a full bodied nose with a mix of spices, white fruits, and peach, alongside hay and minerality. On the palate, it displays a refined med+ acidity, highlighted by lemon tastes that are both sharp and direct. The trail is medium, with a delightful bitter tone. whereas it may not be a standout, it's a decent effort for those looking to dip their toes into the 2014 vintage. A good option for those with limited experience, but be aware that this is a one-time vintage.
