Voss Expert tasting note
A deep, inky garnet in the glass, the Johann Michel Cuvée Grain Noir exudes a captivating bouquet of blackcurrant, violet, and graphite, underscored by subtle hints of flintd meat and cracked pepper.

Elibeth
Rich, intense red wine with a deep, supple color. The nose is marked by a prominent meaty, pepper-like aroma, with a elegant note of spice. The sensation is dry, with a smooth, silky smoothness and a nuanced flavor profile that includes flavors of violet, pepper, and a touch of acidity. The aftertaste is long and satisfying, with a lingering finish that leaves a delightful impression.
Dask
Rustic, earthy discovery with a lively, fruit-forward character, but a lack of seamlessness in zest and tannins, making it a fun, if unrefined, farmyard adventure

Johann Michel Cuvée Grain Noir is appreciated for its rich, intense flavor with notes of violet, pepper, and spice. While some enjoy its smooth, silky texture and long finish, others find it lacks seamlessness and refinement, offering a rustic, earthy experience instead. The wine's lively, fruit-forward character is noted, though it may not appeal to those seeking a more polished profile.
A deep, inky garnet in the glass, the Johann Michel Cuvée Grain Noir exudes a captivating bouquet of blackcurrant, violet, and graphite, underscored by subtle hints of flintd meat and cracked pepper. On the palate, this Northern Rhône Syrah showcases a robust structure with finely grained tannins and a vibrant acidity that enlivens its dense core of dark fruit and earthy minerality. The wine's complexity unfolds with layers of licorice and olive tapenade, culminating in a long, savory finish. This cuvée is a quintessential expression of Cornas, offering both power and finesse, and promises rewarding cellaring potential.
