Intense and full-bodied wine with a round texture, balanced by gentle peppery whispers and a velvety finish. Paired well with bold meats, such as lamb and game, and earthy vegetables like Brussels sprouts and roasted potatoes. A exceptional offering for the price, showcasing a pleasing and filling experience.
Ilje
Rich, plush mouthfeel with a deep, dark purple hue. Earthy, cherry, and blackberry touches unfold on the nose, complemented by a mild oak and leafy undertone. The profile is medium-bodied, with a smooth, rounded smoothness and a steady acidity. suggestions of plum, cherry, and blackberry persist, tempered by a dry, slightly astringent ending that stays with a wisp of oak and a whisper of alcohol.
Tee
Kirk Venge is a masterclass in fruit-forward winemaking. The fruit is simply exceptional, with a plethora of blackberries, raspberries, plums, and currants. The chocolate and mocha nuances add a delightful depth. The long-lasting follow through is well-structured and refined. A truly extraordinary wine. A star above the 2014. A return to form for Jax.
