Miskinea
Rich, full-bodied Barolo with a velvety texture, its textured layers of damask rose, opaque fruit, and spice are flawlessly seamless by a gentle nuance of tobacco. As it opens, the wine reveals itself with a rewarding depth, its undertones unfolding with ease. A classic pairing for a hearty, savory dish like veal osso buco and papardelle with sage butter.
Closerie
Deep and velvety Barolo with a deep, earthy character, augmented by mild nuances of leather and tobacco. The trail is long and satisfying, with a smooth, silky grip that stays on the palate. A mind-blowing cost effectiveness for the price, and I look forward to purchasing it again in the future.
Mebeldela
Tranquil haven amidst life's turmoil. On the 50-something day of this existence, I found solace in this Barolo’s Nebbiolo. A subtle and crystalline wine, polished to perfection. The subtle nuances of rose, red, and violet berries unfold, accompanied by the warmth of nutmeg, anise, and mint. The tannins are grainy and structured, yielding a long and rapturous finish. A well-crafted wine, indeed. Cheers to the gentle warmth of life.

Guido Porro V. S. Caterina Barolo is praised for its rich, full-bodied nature and velvety texture, with notes of rose, forest floor, and leather. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and long finish, others find the acidity overpowering for vegetarian pairings. The wine's earthy and fruity complexity, along with its cost-effectiveness, makes it a favored choice among consumers.
Aromas of dark cherry, leather, and forest floor mingle on the nose of this Guido Porro V. S. Caterina Barolo. On the palate, the wine shows terrific texture and complexity, with flavors of blackberry, fig, dried herbs, and licorice backed by a bright acidity and smooth tannins. The finish is long and inviting, with a hint of spice lingering in the background. Enjoy this Barolo now and for the next several years.
