This Barolo from Guido Porro Gianetto is a remarkable expression of Nebbiolo. On the nose, it is rich in floral and herbaceous aromas with notes of cherry, licorice and spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured with ripe tannins, a pleasant acidity and a long, intense finish. It offers flavors of dark fruits, forest floor, leather, and spice. This is a well-balanced Barolo that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Motoi
Barolo that's a bit like a gentle awakening to a long-held secret.\n\nFortunately, I have two bottles - one to savor now, and one to reserve for the ages.\n\nI think the reserve bottle will be a 4.5 ⭐️ or perhaps a 4 ⭐️, but it's already a masterpiece - 3.8 ⭐️ \n\nTannins, aronia, and leather. A wine that's a powerful exploration of the human condition.
Benji
A lean entry-level Barolo that demonstrates its straightforward character and drinkability, even after a few years of aging and blending.
Cvetomira Termeau
Pleasant, easy-drinking wine with a floral and herbal character, featuring flavors of rose petal, orange, and cherry, polished by a dry, woody tannin finish.

Guido Porro Gianetto Barolo is praised for its rich, full-bodied nature, with flavors of cherry, rose, and earthy undertones. While some find it elegant and well-structured, others report it lacks depth and character. Tannins and a crisp finish are common, with potential for aging. The wine's aromatic profile includes floral and herbal notes, but opinions vary on its overall complexity.
