G.D. Vajra Dolcetto d'Alba Coste & Fossati is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with vibrant fruit flavors like black cherry, blackberry, and plum. While some appreciate its well-balanced tannins and smooth finish, others find its dry finish overpowering. Notes of spice, licorice, and herbal hints add complexity. Its deep color and ability to pair well with Italian dishes make it a crowd-pleaser.
This G.D. Vajra Dolcetto d’Alba Coste & Fossati offers an inviting bouquet of ripe cherry, blackberry and raspberry aromas, with a hint of spice and a subtle floral note. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with juicy red and black fruit flavors, balanced acidity and a smooth texture. The finish is long and persistent, with a lingering hint of spice. Overall, this is a well-balanced, food-friendly wine that pairs nicely with grilled meats and rustic Italian cuisine.
