Fratelli Alessandria Priòra Barbera d'Alba Superiore is praised for its robust, fruity character with notes of cherry, plum, and berry. While some appreciate its smooth, polished texture and well-integrated oak, others find it quite acidic and dry. The wine's rich, spicy aroma and medium to full body make it versatile for pairing with various dishes, though opinions on its complexity and finish vary.

Voss Experts4.0

This wine is a true expression of the Barbera d'Alba terroir. The nose is intense and complex, with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and white pepper. On the palate, the wine is powerful and well-structured, with ripe tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, velvety finish. The flavor profile is filled with dark fruits, spices, and hints of earthy minerals, making it an excellent choice for a full-bodied red.
