This Fontodi Vigna del Sorbo Gran Selezione Chianti Classico offers a complex, yet balanced bouquet of aromas and flavors. On the nose, you'll find notes of ripe cherry, blackberry, cigar box, forest floor leaf, and a hint of baking spice. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied and velvety, with a dense core of black fruit and a lengthy, savory finish. The tannins are firm, but well integrated, giving the wine a firm structure and excellent aging potential. Overall, this is a well-structured and refined Chianti Classico that will continue to evolve for years to come.
