Banfi Brunello di Montalcino 2021

Banfi Brunello di Montalcino receives mixed reviews. Many appreciate its rich, full-bodied character with notes of cherry, leather, and oak, while others find it lacking in complexity and depth. Some vintages, like 2010 and 2013, are highly praised for their balance and aging potential, whereas others, such as 2013, are criticized for being harsh and astringent. Overall, it's a well-regarded wine with room for improvement.

This full-bodied Italian red wine displays aromas of cherry and raspberry, complemented by notes of spice, leather, and anise. On the palate, the tannins are velvety and the acidity is well-balanced. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering flavors of dark fruit and earth. An ideal accompaniment to a variety of dishes, this Brunello di Montalcino is a classic expression of the region's terroir.
