The wine's sweetness and smoothness are compromised by a dominant peach and pear flavor profile, which is tempered by a tangy, sour grape note that extends on the palate. The follow through is abrupt and puckering, with floral undertones that add a complex, interesting dimension to the overall experience.
Nagib Karner
Gentle and bright fragrance of peach, pear, and pineapple, with mild floral undertones, on the nose. The impression is highlighted by a sweet and effervescent texture, featuring suggestions of canned peaches and honey, alongside refreshing white grape juice and nectarine flavors. The linger is long and satisfying, with a lingering sweetness that is neither overpowering nor cloying.

Folonari Moscato presents a sweet, fruity profile with prominent peach and pear notes, balanced by floral undertones. While some praise its refreshing effervescence and value as a summer sipper, others criticize inconsistent sweetness levels and a tangy, abrupt finish. Opinions vary on its balance, with descriptors ranging from 'cloying' to 'understated'.
This Moscato from Provincia di Pavia greets the eye with a pale straw hue, hinting at its youthful vibrancy. On the nose, it offers an exuberant bouquet of ripe peach, honeysuckle, and a whisper of orange blossom, underscored by a subtle minerality. The palate is effervescent and delicately sweet, with a harmonious interplay of juicy apricot and lychee flavors, balanced by a refreshing acidity that prevents any cloying sensation. The finish is clean and slightly floral, making it an exemplary representation of Moscato's approachable charm, perfect for pairing with light desserts or enjoyed as an aperitif.
