Elephant Hill Sea Viognier 2020

Elephant Hill Sea Viognier is praised for its stonefruit-driven profile with apricot and rockmelon notes. While some appreciate its zesty tannins and speed-dated character, others highlight its harmonious elegance with nuances of lavender and star anise. The wine offers a smooth blend of sweet and fresh notes, with a long, satisfying finish, making it both lively and easy-drinking.

This Viognier presents a luminous straw hue, with an aromatic profile that is both opulent and precise. The nose unfurls layers of apricot blossom, ripe peach, and a whisper of honeysuckle, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet elegantly structured, with a silky texture that carries flavors of juicy nectarine and a hint of ginger spice. A vibrant acidity provides balance, leading to a lingering finish marked by a touch of saline complexity. This wine exemplifies the coastal influence, offering a refined expression of Viognier that is both distinctive and memorable.
