Masterful blend of Burgundy and Chardonnay, with a rich, creamy texture and a enjoyable minerality. The stone fruit and citrus whispers are classic, at the same time the nuttiness and minerality add nuance and complexity. A well-balanced and mellow wine, with a long finish.

Voss Experts4.5

A luminous straw hue introduces the Elephant Hill Sea Chardonnay, offering a bouquet of ripe stone fruits, notably white peach and nectarine, intertwined with subtle nuances of lemon zest and a whisper of flinty minerality. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious balance between its creamy texture and vibrant acidity, showcasing layers of toasted almond and a hint of brioche from well-judged oak integration. The finish is long and precise, with a saline edge that speaks to its coastal origins. This Chardonnay exemplifies the finesse and elegance of New Zealand's Hawke's Bay region, promising both immediate pleasure and potential for graceful aging.
