A classic expression of Bordeaux, this wine presents a deep garnet hue, revealing its youthful vibrancy. The nose is a sophisticated interplay of blackcurrant, plum, and subtle graphite, underscored by a whisper of cedar and freshly turned earth. On the palate, it showcases a harmonious balance of ripe tannins and bright acidity, offering a medium-bodied structure that is both elegant and assertive. The finish is long and layered, with hints of dark chocolate and a mineral edge, making it a quintessential representation of its terroir and an excellent candidate for cellaring.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.

Dulon Bois de la Croix Bordeaux is crafted from a blend of traditional Bordeaux grape varieties, grown in the renowned Bordeaux region of France. The vineyard benefits from a temperate maritime climate, which contributes to the balanced ripening of the grapes. The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit character, followed by a period of aging in oak barrels to add structure and depth. This Bordeaux offers a medium-bodied palate with notes of dark fruit and a well-integrated finish, making it suitable for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
