Domaine du Pelican Arbois Savagnin Ouillé 2023

Delightful moment to savor Jura style, with a top notch example of Savagnin. Aged for 10 months in used 500L oak barrels, this wine is crafted in a reductive style. The color is straw yellow, with a rich, full-bodied texture. The nose reveals a nuanced perfume of hazelnut, almond, and paraffin, with suggestions of limestone, flint, and yeast. The palate is recognized by a unified stability of minerals, petrol, and slate, with a nuanced saltiness and a touch of vanilla and honey. The finale is long and satisfying, with a lingering aftertaste of green apples, lemon, and dried stone fruits. A truly fantastic wine.

Smooth and lively wine with a nuanced stone fruit nose and a well-balanced palate, finishing dry and easy to drink. A comforting and accessible elite for those seeking a straightforward, easy-drinking wine.

Seamless seamlessness of earthy and floral notes, with a gentle undertone of tropical freshness. The wine's consistency is smooth and refined, with a gratifying ending that leaves the flavor feeling clean and refreshed. The complexity is evident, yet the comprehensively effect is one of soft tension, as if the accents are waiting to be fully expressed. A delightful wine that is both polished and engaging, with a certain je ne sais quoi that makes it a pleasure to savor.
