Cirelli Pecorino Colline Pescaresi 2023

Cirelli Pecorino Colline Pescaresi is appreciated for its refreshing, light, and zesty profile, with citrus, apple, and mineral notes. While some enjoy its smooth, mellow finish, others find it disjointed with a sour finish when warmed. Its complexity and subtlety are praised, though some note a lack of equilibrium and low acidity. Overall, it's a well-crafted wine with a lot to offer.

This Pecorino from the Colline Pescaresi region presents a luminous straw hue, offering an aromatic bouquet of white peach, lemon zest, and a whisper of wild herbs. On the palate, it reveals a vibrant acidity that underscores its mineral backbone, complemented by notes of green apple and a hint of almond. The wine's medium body and crisp, clean finish are indicative of its coastal terroir, making it a quintessential expression of Pecorino. Its finesse and balance position it as a distinguished example within the Abruzzo white wine category, ideal for pairing with seafood or light pasta dishes.
