This 2017 vintage of Château Smith Haut-Lafitte Pessac-Léognan Blanc is a delightfully fresh, light-bodied white wine. Its aromas of white flowers, citrus and stone fruits lead to a palate of pear, apple, and honeydew melon complemented by a soft mineral character. A nice acidity and vibrant finish give this wine a bright and lively character that will pair nicely with a variety of dishes. Enjoy now or cellar for a few years for a more complex flavor.

Château Smith Haut-Lafitte Pessac-Léognan Blanc is praised for its vibrant and complex flavors, with notes of citrus, tropical fruits, and a touch of oak. While some find it refreshing and well-balanced, others note a creamy texture with hints of honey and vanilla. The wine is often described as elegant and suitable for both immediate enjoyment and aging, though a few mention oxidation in older vintages.
