Château Jouclary Sauvignon 2024

Château Jouclary Sauvignon Blanc receives mixed praise for its refreshing citrus-apricot character and seafood pairing versatility. Reviewers highlight its lively acidity cutting through rich fish dishes and clean vibrancy with lobster, though some find the fruit expression overly unique. The wine shows consistent strength in food compatibility.

This Sauvignon Blanc from Château Jouclary exhibits a pale straw hue, revealing a bouquet of vibrant citrus zest, freshly cut grass, and subtle hints of elderflower. On the palate, the wine is crisp and lively, with a precise acidity that frames the expressive flavors of green apple and gooseberry. The mid-palate shows a touch of minerality, adding depth and complexity, while the finish is clean and refreshing, with a lingering note of lime peel. This wine exemplifies the varietal's characteristic freshness and is a commendable representation of the Languedoc terroir.
