Masterful blend of fruit and oak, with a subtle minerality that elevates the dish. The ending is long and satisfying, with a smooth, rounded quality that pairs beautifully with rich seafood. A truly impressive wine, with exceptional potential for the future.
Adherbal
Aged to perfection in oak barrels and amphorae, this Chenin blanc expresses a mild balance of flavors. The pale gold tone is highlighted by a watery rim, though the nose reveals a cohesive blend of green apple, peach, and pink grapefruit. The aroma is reminiscent of cut grass, with a buttery undertone. The flavor is bone dry, yet surprisingly crisp, with layers of minerals and a touch of pear. The finale is sharp and acidic, leaving a persistent impression. Overall, this Chenin blanc is a refined and well-crafted wine, but its gentle nature makes it prone to fleeting moments of expression.
