Decent chenin blanc, with ripe stone fruits that could benefit from a bit more body. A decent effort, but perhaps not quite there.

Bright and drinkable wine with a velvety entry, blended by the sweetness of pear and the crispness of lemon. The nuances unfold effortlessly, with a light aftertaste that continues pleasantly. A fantastic choice for those wanting a light and easy-drinking white wine.

This Jasnières Chenin Blanc showcases pronounced minerality balanced with honey and citrus notes, praised for its elegance and refreshing crispness. While most appreciate its harmonious blend of stone fruits and floral undertones, some find it lacking in body. The wine's complexity varies across vintages, with standout characteristics including velvety texture and nuanced apple/pear flavors.
This Pascal Janvier Cuvée du Silex Jasnières is a bright and elegant expression of the Jasnières appellation. On the nose, aromas of ripe pear, apple, and honeycomb mingle with floral notes of jasmine, white flowers, and ripe peach. On the palate, a delicate acidity gives way to a creamy body and a hint of minerals. Flavors of citrus fruits, herbs, and honey linger on the finish. Overall, this is an elegant and balanced wine with a long and satisfying finish.
