Delightful lunchtime Bandol featuring a seamless blend of Clairette and Ugni Blanc. The wine arrived too chilled, but once it warmed up and paired with our pan-seared sea bream, it was a truly delightful experience. The initial floral notes was recognized by a rich, indulgent fruitiness, orange blossom, and floral notes. Later, the wine evolved into a more textured and nuanced profile, featuring fennel and classic Provençal herbal notes. The wine's liveliness was notably noteworthy, and its consistency was pleasingly smooth, likely due to its time on lees. A shame it was the last bottle the venue had.
