Obruni
Well-deserved 4-star rating, and a beautifully rounded St Emilion that brought back memories of France. The plum and red fruit flavors were a delightful accompaniment to a gratifying duck confit.

This Château Croix Cardinale Saint-Émilion Grand Cru exudes a deep and powerful nose of dark fruits, with intense aromas of blackberry, black cherry and cassis. The palate is full-bodied and intense, with ripe black fruits, dark chocolate and a hint of oak. The finish is long and complex, with subtle spice and lingering notes of cedar and forest floor. Enjoy now or cellar for up to ten to fifteen years.

Anelkys
Mid-range St-Emilion highlighting from the same winemakers as Fleur Cardinale Grand Cru Classe, but from a nearby vineyard. at the same time it showed promise, it fell short of expectations. The fruit was pleasant, but the wine was marred by a chalky and bitter finish. A more elegant style would elevate this wine, but I suspect it will benefit from a few years in bottle. I'll be revisiting this one in the future.
Casasole
Surprisingly fruity but very decent wine, a outstanding bargain for its price.

Château Croix Cardinale Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of plum, chocolate, and dark fruits. While some enjoy its smooth, velvety texture and well-balanced tannins, others find a chalky finish. It pairs well with rich dishes and offers a rewarding experience for those who appreciate bold reds. The wine shows potential for aging, enhancing its complexity over time.
