This Spanish red offers a deep garnet hue, indicative of its rich, concentrated nature. On the nose, it unveils a sophisticated bouquet of ripe blackberries and dark cherries, intertwined with hints of cedar and a whisper of vanilla from well-judged oak maturation. The palate is robust yet elegantly structured, with velvety tannins providing a firm backbone to the wine's lush fruit core. A vibrant acidity ensures balance, leading to a lingering finish accented by nuances of dark chocolate and subtle earthiness. This wine exemplifies the finesse and depth characteristic of premium Ribera del Duero expressions.

Well-balanced Ribera del Duero with a rich, velvety consistency and a soft complexity, highlighted by the warmth of oak and the delicate nuance of pepper, all during maintaining a crisp, dry finish.
Rai-Mon
Decent, if unremarkable, Mallorcan red wine with traces of oak, blackberry, cherry, plum, and leather, returning to a somewhat one-dimensional finish.
Bao-Lan
A deep, concentrated red colour with a dark, inky hue. The nose is characterised by a well-rounded interplay of rich, medicinal notes, with the addition of mild milk chocolate and mocha undertones. The liveliness is medium to high, during the tannins are chewy and velvety. The lasting impression is long and satisfying, with flavours of blueberry lingering on the palate. Overall, this wine was drinkable but not distinctly impressive. The notable feature of this wine was the unique label artwork, which featured a pen and ink drawing that was both beautiful and evocative. Unfortunately, the artist was unable to complete the piece in time, and the bottle was left unopened for several days. Despite this, the label remains a striking and memorable addition to the wine's on the whole package.

Boada Pepe Yllera is a well-structured Ribera del Duero offering rich dark fruit flavors like blackberry and plum, complemented by oak-derived vanilla and spice notes. While many praise its smooth, velvety texture and balanced tannins, some find younger vintages overly tannic or one-dimensional. The wine's complexity shines in aged releases, though occasional reviews note a lack of fruit expression or evolving earthy undertones as it mellows.
