What the web is saying

Bodegas San Román Tinto is praised for its rich, full-bodied character, with notes of dark fruit, oak, and spices. Many appreciate its smooth texture and aging potential. While some find the tannins well-integrated, others feel they can be intense. The wine's balance of fruit and earthy undertones is often highlighted, though a few mention a lack of complexity. Overall, it offers a rewarding experience.

Voss Experts4.3

This Bodegas San Román Tinto is a full-bodied and robust red blend. On the nose, it offers aromas of blackberry, plum, and hints of nutmeg and clove. On the palate, it is rich and opulent, with flavours of ripe dark fruit and a subtle smokiness. The finish is long and structured, with soft tannins that give way to a lingering savoury finish. Enjoy this bold and complex red now or cellar for up to ten years.
