What the web is saying

Beringer Bros. Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, and vanilla. The bourbon barrel aging adds a unique depth, though some find it overpowering. While many enjoy its smooth finish and complexity, others feel the bourbon influence is too subtle or too strong. Overall, it's a well-regarded wine with a distinctive character.

Voss Experts4.3

This Beringer Beringer Bros. Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is an impressive expression of this classic varietal. The nose is full of ripe blackberry and cassis aromas, along with underlying notes of chocolate, leather, and charred oak. On the palate, lush flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, and mocha are accompanied by smooth, balanced tannins and a hint of spice. The finish is long and full-bodied, with a lingering hint of bourbon-infused oak. Enjoy this rich and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with a variety of hearty dishes.
