Zesty and lean wine with a dry and tart profile, augmented by a gentle spicy berry note. as it has a certain ruggedness, it could benefit from a more refined follow through and a cleaner altogether character.

What the web is saying

Beckmen Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache Rosé is appreciated for its vibrant fruit flavors like strawberry and raspberry, with some vintages offering a zesty, clean finish. While some find it rich and full-bodied, others note a dry, tart profile with grassy undertones. The wine's minerality and velvety mouthfeel are praised, though some suggest it could be more refined.

Voss Experts4.5

A luminous, pale salmon hue introduces this Grenache Rosé, offering an inviting bouquet of wild strawberries, white peach, and a hint of rose petal. On the palate, it reveals a precise balance of vibrant acidity and delicate fruit, with notes of red currant and a whisper of blood orange zest. The mid-palate is elegantly textured, leading to a crisp, mineral-driven finish that lingers with a subtle saline edge. This rosé exemplifies the refined elegance and expressive terroir of the Purisima Mountain Vineyard, making it a benchmark for California's premium rosé offerings.
