Beckmen is a Santa Ynez Valley wine producer that has tended vines since 1994. Tom Beckmen founded Roland Corp. US; his son Steve championed Rhône-style wines and established Santa Barbara County’s first certified Biodynamic vineyard. After 24 years on Wall Street, Jeff Beckmen joined the family winery in 2016 to support national sales.

Its two vineyards are Thomas and Judith Beckmen Estate Vineyard in Los Olivos District AVA and Purisima Mountain Vineyard in Ballard Canyon AVA. Purisima grows white grapes, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Counoise. Cabernet Sauvignon is also a focus, alongside small amounts of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Farming avoids herbicides, insecticides, pesticides and nitrogen-based fertilizer. Wines are fermented and aged in lots of 1–2 tons to capture each block’s individuality. Its wines include Syrah, its flagship variety.
On VinoVoss, Beckmen has 6 wines in stock: 4 red, 1 white, 1 rosé. Their average rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 110 ratings.
