Day of open bottle aging is a must for this bottle, revealing mild nuances over time. Day one, the cork is tightly closed, and the contents are minimal, but as the days pass, a opulent cherry and tobacco flavor emerges, accompanied by a dash of spice. in contrast the cost effectiveness is good, the bottle requires some planning to fully appreciate its potential.

This Barbera showcases a deep ruby hue, indicative of its vibrant character. The bouquet is a complex interplay of ripe red cherries, wild berries, and subtle hints of dried herbs, underscored by a whisper of vanilla from judicious oak aging. On the palate, it reveals a medium-bodied structure with a lively acidity that is quintessential to Barbera, offering a refreshing counterpoint to the wine's plush fruit core. The tannins are finely grained, providing a seamless texture that leads to a lingering finish marked by notes of dark chocolate and a touch of spice. This wine exemplifies the expressive nature of Piedmont's terroir, making it a compelling choice for those seeking a classic yet approachable Italian red.
