Andrew Will Two Blondes Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

A impressive selection for an American Wine Expert class, this unfiltered, natural wine offers a full bodied and intricate fragrance with whispers of black currant, black plum, and red plum, complemented by herbal undertones. The texture is equally impressive, with a juicy body and a dry finish, tempered by a delightful level of zest and a smooth, round texture. The tannins are well-balanced, providing a sense of composition and depth. Overall, this wine is a mind-blowing example of the best of the natural wine movement.

Decent Cabernet Sauvignon that delivers a smooth ride, but doesn't distinctly stand out in any aspect. Its roundness is a welcome respite, especially during a ski vacation where it serves its purpose well.

Aged 19 months in 20% new and 80% neutral French oak, this wine highlights a rich, dark ruby color with ripe, layered fruit aromas of blackberry, dark plums, and cherries, augmented by accents of black fig. The sensation is described by textured layers of cassis, black currant, and red and black cherry skin, with firm tannins and lively acidity. The finish is long and subtle, with oak tones adding depth. This wine pairs well with red meat, especially steak.
