The wine's well-rounded character is reminiscent of Pinot Noir, with a strawberry-like nuance that is tempered by a red bright notes that is subtly suppressed by the bitterness. The flavor profile is reminding of a Burgundy, with a dash of oak chip that adds density and complexity.
Verushka
Rich, nuanced nose with a deep, earthy foundation, featuring touches of dried leaves, clay, and potting soil, paired by the understated sweetness of vanilla and the savory whispers of cured meat, meanwhile a suggestion of mushroom and leather adds profoundness and nuance, graceful by the bright, herbal undertones of oregano and the acidic freshness of orange peel, with a lingering conclusion that leaves a continuing experience of tar and dried persimmon.
Enc
Muscular wine that demands a substantial dining experience. This introduction to Barolo/Barbaresco is a stonking starting point for those searching for more nuanced iterations of this Italian classic. The rich, mellow touch is matched by a subtle tail of warm spices, evoking the character of leather, oak, and a trace of tobacco. As I look forward to exploring more detailed expressions of this wine, I am confident that it will continue to impress with its complexity and complexity.
