Vigneti Vecchio was founded in 2016 when Carmelo Vecchio and his wife Rosa La Guzza decided to make their own wine. The Vecchio family farmed the Verzella estate since time immemorial, first as sharecroppers and later as rightful owners.

Located in Verzella, Castiglione di Sicilia, Italy, within the Etna Doc, the estate has 3 hectares of vineyards and produces 15,000 bottles. The vineyards are situated on lava soils that must be worked manually to be cultivated, featuring century-old vines trained in the Etna bush (alberello) method on terraced slopes. Its wines include Sciare Vive Etna Rosso, Sciare Vive Etna Bianco, Sciare Vive Etna Rosato, Donna Bianca Terre Siciliane Rosso, Contrada Malpasso Etna Rosso, Contrada Friera Etna Rosso, Contrada Crasà Etna Rosso, and Sciaraballa Rosato Frizzante.
On VinoVoss, Vigneti Vecchio has 1 wine in stock: 1 white. Their average rating is 3.6 out of 5 from 6 ratings.
