The Speri family has produced wine since at least 1874, attested by an original cellar barrel. In 1933, Sante Speri acquired the Monte Sant'Urbano estate in Fumane, and in 1962, brothers Giuseppe, Benedetto, Carlo, and Eliseo Speri constructed the current cellar.

Speri cultivates approximately 60 hectares of estate vineyards in Valpolicella Classica, where hillside vineyards are terraced with dry stone walls called marogne. All wines are made exclusively from estate-grown grapes, with separate vinification of grapes from each single vineyard since the 1970s, and in 2015, Speri achieved organic certification for 100% of its production. Its wines include Amarone Classico Vigneto Monte Sant'Urbano, Valpolicella Classico Superiore Sant'Urbano, and Recioto Classico La Roggia.
On VinoVoss, Speri has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.4 out of 5 from 132 ratings. Speri is in the top 10% of the 77 rated Veneto wineries on VinoVoss.
