Santa Margherita is a wine producer that began in 1935, when Gaetano Marzotto decided to establish an agricultural hub between Fossalta di Portogruaro and the Venetian Lagoon. After World War II, the estate set out to produce only wines with a controlled designation of origin (DOC).

Research in Alto Adige led Santa Margherita to vinify Pinot Grigio as a white wine from 1961, eliminating contact between must and skins during pressing. Its wines include Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, lightly sparkling Müller Thurgau and sparkling Prosecco. In Alto Adige, it adopted integrated pest management to eliminate basic chemical use, while pursuing lower production for higher quality and investing in environmental restoration to combat waste and protect biodiversity and the landscape.
On VinoVoss, Santa Margherita has 2 wines in stock: 1 red, 1 rosé. Their average rating is 3.7 out of 5 from 45 ratings.
