Rocca di Frassinello is a winery in Gavorrano, Grosseto, established as an Italian-French joint venture. Alessandro Cellai oversees winemaking and also serves as the winery’s general manager.

Its Italian-French origins carry through to almost 90 hectares of vineyards, where Italian varieties Sangioveto and Vermentino grow alongside French varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. At harvest, grapes arrive in small crates at sorting tables, then descend by gravity through hatches into fermentation vats, avoiding pumps that would stress the grapes and impair their quality. Its wines include Baffonero, made from 100% Merlot; all its other wines are blends.
On VinoVoss, Rocca di Frassinello has 4 wines in stock: 3 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 137 ratings.
