Punica is a winery founded in Santadi in 2002 by Antonello Pilloni, Giacomo Tachis and Nicolò Incisa Della Rocchetta. Pilloni served as administrator and director from its establishment, with Tachis as enologist; Incisa Della Rocchetta held the presidency from 2002 through 2017.

In 2002, it acquired the 170-hectare Barrua and Narcao estates in Basso Sulcis, southwestern Sardinia. Its wines include Barrua, based on Carignano with small proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and Montessu, introduced in 2005 with 60% Carignano and Bordeaux varieties. Cellar equipment ranges from stainless steel for malolactic fermentation to French oak barriques selected according to Tachis’s protocol.
