Pollak

Pollak Vineyards is a wine producer in Greenwood, Virginia, founded in 2003 by David and Margo Pollak. Benoit Pineau is its head winemaker.

Its tasting room sits in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just west of Charlottesville. Vineyard consultant Lucie Morton provides guidance throughout the winemaking process. The estate-grown fruit is hand-tended, hand-harvested and carefully sorted before fermentation. The winery was designed to allow gentle handling of fruit and wine from harvest through aging. Its wines include Nebbiolo, with 2023 marking its first vintage made entirely from fruit grown in Pollak’s own vineyard.
