Ostler is a wine estate established in 1998 on a site Jim Jerram and Jeff Sinnott identified for its limestone soils, north-facing aspect, elevation and cool growing conditions. The first Pinot Noir vines were planted in 2002, and Clos Ostler entered family ownership in 2021. Sarah-Kate and Dan Dineen work with the estate on winemaking, blending and technical development.

Pinot Noir forms the heart of the vineyard, alongside smaller plantings of Pinot Gris and Chardonnay Clone 95. In 2024, a further 1.5 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were added to the estate. The vineyard is dry-grown and managed block by block in response to soils, vines and seasonal variations, with low yields and hand-harvested fruit. Clos Ostler produced its first Chardonnay in 2024, introducing another expression of its limestone site. Its wines include Caroline's Pinot Noir and EOS Pinot Noir.
