Newfound

Newfound is Matt and Audra Naumann’s ranch, vineyard and winery, founded in 2016 on 40 acres in California’s Sierra Foothills. The two wine industry veterans share a passion for wine and discovery.

Its estate sits at 2,100 feet overlooking the middle fork of the Consumnes River. Work on the volcanic soil included laying cover crops and preparing additional acreage for new, organically farmed plantings. The process of establishing High View Vineyard began in spring 2018. Newfound also sources Semillon and Grenache from Yount Mill, where the Semillon comes from the vineyard’s last head-trained, dry-farmed section.
