Le Monde

Le Monde is a wine estate in Prata di Pordenone, Friuli, whose story began with the dream of Alex Maccan, who had explored the area since childhood. His dream took shape through a partnership with his longtime companions, Marta, Giovanni and Massimo.

All its grapes come from estate-owned land, where the vineyards lie in an area shaped by rivers that deposited calcareous-dolomitic material carried down from the mountains. The vineyard parcels have predominantly alluvial clay-limestone soils covering a layer of gravel. Alongside international grape varieties, Le Monde grows the native varieties Ribolla Gialla, Friulano and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
