Kerr Cellars was founded in 2013 by sommelier and professional golfer Cristie Kerr. Erik Stevens is the president of Kerr Cellars and the husband of Cristie Kerr, and Helen Keplinger is the winemaker for Kerr Cellars.

Kerr Cellars operates as a négociant winemaker, sourcing fruit from vineyards across Napa Valley and Sonoma County. It sources grapes from private vineyards including Houyi, Beckstoffer George III, and Stagecoach. Its Napa Valley and Sonoma County wines are made in classic styles inspired by the wines of Bordeaux and Burgundy.
