Heritage School Vineyards was founded in 2014 by David and Linda Jenkins. The estate was previously Harris Estate Vineyards and was formerly home to the Heritage School for Boys, after which the Jenkins family renamed the property. The winery is owned by the Jenkins family, who oversee the Calistoga location with the help of their four daughters: Missiaen, Casey, Hannah, and Julie. Winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown joined Heritage School Vineyards in 2006, bringing a natural winemaking approach to the estate.

Its vineyards include Creekside Vineyard, a dry-farmed, 2.5-acre vineyard planted in 1998 to clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon with a creek running the length of its east side. Its wines include 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Calistoga AVA.
