About HDV
HDV was co-founded in 2000 as a venture between the Hyde family of Napa Valley and the de Villaine family of Burgundy, with Aubert de Villaine overseeing winemaking matters.
Built in 2003, the winery is located minutes north of downtown Napa and nestled beside the Napa River. Hyde Vineyards is situated in the cool Carneros climate on sedimentary terraces with shallow loamy soils, and winemaking is terroir-driven with minimal manipulation in the cellar.
