Hawk and Horse Vineyards is a family-owned winery in Lake County.

Its 18-acre vineyard lies in the Lake County Red Hills AVA, with a microclimate suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux varieties.

The winery holds Demeter Biodynamic and CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) certifications, and makes its own vineyard preparations as the cornerstone of its biodynamic program.

Dung is a key ingredient in its most important applications, which prompted the addition of Scottish Highland cattle to the ranching operation.
