Green & Red is a wine producer on a mountainside property purchased by Jay in 1969. Its first public vintage, from 1977, was made using a simple basket press and bottled by hand. After Jay died in 2019, his daughter, Tobin Heminway, took over Green & Red, where Aaron Whitlatch and Greg Fitzgerald work as winemakers.

Planting began with Chiles Mill Vineyard at 800–1,000 feet above sea level, followed by the nine-acre Catacula Vineyard at 1,200–1,400 feet. Jay later planted the 15-acre Tip Top Vineyard at 1,800–2,000 feet, at the top of the mountainside property. Green & Red grows Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc Musque clone, and its wines include Zinfandel.
On VinoVoss, Green & Red has 2 wines in stock: 2 red. Their average rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 27 ratings.
