The Gérard Seguin estate was divided among Alexis Seguin's three children, Aristide, Blanche, and Hippolyte, in the 1920s. Starting in 1950, Pierre Seguin, son of Hippolyte, began acquiring vines and rebuilt the estate. In 1977, Gérard Seguin joined the estate, bought his first vine parcel in Reniard, and started commercial bottling. Jérôme Seguin joined his parents' estate in 2006 after completing viticulture and oenology studies in Beaune, taking over estate management in 2018 upon the retirement of Gérard and Chantal. The estate farms 6.25 hectares planted with Pinot Noir and operates 0.55 hectares of AOC Village vines under tenancy. Single Guyot pruning retains seven buds per vine stock, and green harvesting leaves seven to eight grape clusters per vine. In the winery, cold pre-fermentation maceration lasts about five to six days at 9°C. Alcoholic fermentation starts naturally with indigenous yeasts, with temperatures kept from exceeding 32°C. Wine aging lasts 15 to 18 months before bottling.
