Domaine A. et P. de Villaine is an estate in Bouzeron, in the Côte Chalonnaise south of Beaune, between Santenay, Rully and Mercurey. Its vines grow exclusively on hillsides at altitudes of 270–350 metres, where poor, limestone-rich soils help control yields. Organic farming began in 1986, followed by certification from Qualité France in 1997. Pesticides and herbicides are excluded to respect natural balances, while fertilisation is limited to organic plant compost. The vines also undergo strict pruning and debudding, with grape thinning in young vines when necessary. Harvest yields average 20% below the limits permitted by regulations.
On VinoVoss, Domaine A. et P. de Villaine has 2 wines in stock: 1 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 102 ratings.
