Generazione Alessandro

Generazione Alessandro was founded by cousins Benedetto, Anna, and Benedetto Alessandro, who are the fourth generation of a winegrowing family.

The estate covers approximately ten hectares on the northeast slope of the volcano, with all vineyards located within the Etna DOC. Its winemaking cellar is housed in an ancient palmento in Contrada Borriglione in Linguaglossa, next to two hectares of terraced Nerello Mascalese vines trained in alberello etneo at 660 meters altitude and planted in 2020. Purchased in 2015, Contrada Palmellata covers nearly five hectares in Castiglione di Sicilia at 640 meters elevation with a northeast exposure and volcanic sands rich in red pumice stone. Planted in 2016 at 5,600 vines per hectare, it has 2 hectares of Nerello Mascalese, 2.2 of Carricante, and 0.3 of Catarratto.
